Monday, 3/25/24:

S1244 passed the House and awaits the governor’s signature.

Tuesday, 2/6/24:

S1244 passed the Senate on a 23-12 vote.

Friday, 2/2/24:

S1244 passed out of committee on Thursday and has reached the Senate floor. Debate should commence early next week.

Friday, 1/26/24:

Idaho Freedom Foundation has rated S1244 -2.

Tuesday, 1/23/24:

Sen. Abby Lee has introduced a bill to further restrict electioneering at polling places, including extending the distance from the polling place door where election paraphernalia is banned to 250 feet from the current 100. This is Senate Bill 1244.
