RELEASE: Idaho House Republicans Statement on Defeat of Proposition 1

Boise – Idaho House Republicans today gave the following statement on the defeat of Proposition 1, the abortion measure that would have allowed abortion on demand, late-term abortion, and underage girls getting abortions without their parents’ knowledge or consent:

“We are so grateful to Idahoans for resoundingly defeating Prop 1. Idaho voters held the line against the extreme abortion agenda, against the lies and deceptions of the Prop 1 campaign, and proved once again why Idaho values are second to none. We are a pro-life state. We have been since our beginnings as a territory. And, thanks to the people of Idaho, we will remain so. God bless our great state.”
