RELEASE: Application checklist added to the Parental Choice Tax Credit website

The My School Choice website features a new application checklist available through the How to Apply and Resources pages.

Parents can use the new checklist to better prepare for the 2026 application period. The application period runs from January 15 at 12:01 a.m. through March 15 at 11:59 p.m. The checklist explains what you should see now in your Taxpayer Access Point (TAP) account. It also outlines what items to prepare before you apply. Parents can apply for either the parental choice tax credit or advance payment for each eligible child.

Parents with questions can email the Tax Commission at [email protected]. They can also call (208) 334-7660 in the Boise area or toll free at (800) 972-7660. You must call if you have a question about your TAP account.
