Department of Fish and Game
Department of State
The Department of Fish and Game manages Idaho's fish, wildlife, and their habitats under the direction of the Idaho Fish and Game Commission, whose seven members—one appointed per administrative region—set policy through rules and proclamations that the Director and department carry out. All wildlife in Idaho is declared by statute to be property of the state, held in trust for the benefit of its citizens.
