(Boise, Idaho) – Idaho Secretary of State Phil McGrane announced his new leadership team as the office prepares for a big election year in Idaho. Office leadership has been restructured to maximize the team’s experience and meet growing demands.
Jesse Barcroft has joined the Office as Chief of Staff, Matt Reiber as Deputy Secretary of State, and Joe Parris will take on the role of Public Information Officer in February. Additionally, existing staff members have taken on expanded roles: Cody McRoberts now serves as Chief Operating Officer and Megan Hill as Elections Director.
“We’re hitting the ground running in 2026, and I’m excited about this team,” said Secretary McGrane. “These leaders bring the experience and energy we need to serve Idaho at a critical time. We’ve been fortunate to work alongside exceptional people who have gone on to outstanding opportunities. I’m deeply grateful to Nicole Fitzgerald, Jason Lehosit, and Rob McQuade. Their leadership and dedication over the past three years helped position this office for continued success.”
“Joining the incredible staff at the Secretary of State’s office is truly a dream job,” said Parris. “Dating back to his time as Chief Deputy Clerk for Ada County, Secretary McGrane helped inspire my passion for elections, transparency, and the inner workings of democracy. I look forward to serving the great people of Idaho.”
“I am humbled and honored to serve under Secretary McGrane as we address some of the most important issues facing the Gem State and our nation, from securing our elections to strengthening our business environment,” said Reiber. “Secretary McGrane is a true leader, and I am grateful for his confidence as we work to improve the lives of Idahoans.”
Beginning in February, Joe Parris will serve as a primary media contact for the office, working alongside Communications Director Chelsea Carattini Bishop.
