VoteIdaho.gov Honored with National Award
This week, I’m proud to share some exciting news. Idaho’s elections website, VoteIdaho.gov, was just recognized with a 2025 Government Experience Award by the Center for Digital Government. The award honors public projects across the country that improve how people connect with their government. For us, that connection starts with making it easier for Idahoans to vote.

Designed with Voters in Mind
When we launched the new design for VoteIdaho.gov last year, our goal was simple: to make it easier for every eligible Idahoan to participate in our elections. Whether it’s registering to vote, updating your information, finding your polling place, or previewing a sample ballot, we wanted the tools to be clear, modern, and easy to use.
I’m incredibly grateful to our team who helped bring that vision to life with our design partners at Mitchell+Palmer. Their creativity, paired with a commitment to public service, helped shape a resource that truly serves Idaho voters.
This national recognition is an honor, but more than that, it’s a reminder of why this work matters. Government should meet people where they are, in ways that are clear, trustworthy, and easy to navigate. That’s what we set out to do with VoteIdaho.gov, and we’re not done yet.

Make Sure You’re Ready for November
If you haven’t visited the site lately, I encourage you to take a look. Whether you need to update your registration or just want to preview your November ballot, it’s all there.
At a time when trust in institutions matters more than ever, I believe this recognition speaks to what’s possible when government leads with transparency, simplicity, and a genuine focus on citizens.
