By Senator Jim Risch
Idahoans deserve a federal government that works for them, not against them. My staff and I are committed to make that happen by helping you navigate bureaucratic challenges with federal agencies.
Each year, my specially trained casework team assists hundreds of Idahoans in cutting through red tape, solving problems, and finding answers to their questions about federal matters.
In just the first five months of 2025, my office has returned over $3 million to Idaho constituents and businesses.
Here’s how we’ve put money back in Idahoans’ pockets:
- $2,637,352.48 from the Internal Revenue Service
- $88,401 from the Social Security Administration
- $75,000 from the Department of Housing and Urban Development
- $69,203 from the Department of Commerce
- $25,424.74 from the Office of Personnel Management
- $3,500 from the State Department
- $2,460 from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency
I am proud of the work my casework team continues to do for Idahoans.
If you are experiencing problems with a federal agency or program, please don’t hesitate to contact my office. We stand ready to help you.

As always, it is an honor to serve you and the people of Idaho.
