Idaho Freedom Foundation, the Gem State’s most influential conservative policy center and think tank, announces the next Capitol Clarity program lineup for Thursday, February 8, 2024, at noon in the Lincoln Auditorium.
Ranked choice voting, blanket primaries, open primaries – there’s a lot of confusion regarding how voters should elect their representatives in the future. IFF is proud to welcome two figures who have been sounding the alarm about this radical proposal to forever change our electoral systems.
Chad Ennis once worked for the Texas Secretary of State doing forensic audits on elections. Now he is the vice president of the Honest Elections Project, a nonpartisan group devoted to supporting the right of every lawful voter to participate in free and honest elections.
Dorothy Moon is the chairwoman of the Idaho Republican Party and previously represented District 8 in the Idaho House of Representatives. She has been an outspoken opponent of ranked choice voting for several years and helped spearhead an effort in the Legislature to ban ranked choice voting last session.
Capitol Clarity began in 2021 as a joint operation between IFF, Lt. Governor Janice McGeachin, and Rep. Dorothy Moon. We are proud to continue this program that brings lawmakers and government leaders together with the people of Idaho.
Join us Thursday at noon in the Lincoln Auditorium or online at YouTube, Facebook, X, or capitolclarity.com.
