The Idaho Court of Appeals is the state’s intermediate appellate court. It reviews appeals from Idaho’s trial courts that are assigned to it by the Idaho Supreme Court. In most cases, decisions of the Court of Appeals are final unless the Supreme Court grants further review.
The Court of Appeals is composed of four judges elected in nonpartisan statewide elections to six-year terms. Cases are decided by panels of three judges.
