Idaho Apple Commission
Self-Governing Agency
The Idaho Apple Commission promotes and researches markets for Idaho-grown apples, funded by an assessment on growers and dealers rather than tax dollars. Commission members—three growers and two dealers, all required to derive most of their income from the apple industry—are appointed to ensure the industry itself directs its own promotional and research spending.
