RISCH: $15 Million Back in Idahoans’ Pockets

Idahoans deserve a federal government that works for them, not against them. When Washington bureaucracy gets in the way, my staff and I step in to help.

Each year, hundreds of Idahoans contact my office for support in navigating challenges with federal agencies. My specially trained team assists them by cutting through red tape, solving problems, and finding answers to their questions.

In 2025 alone, my office returned more than $15 million to Idaho families, veterans, workers, and businesses that was tied up behind bureaucratic backlogs.

Here’s how we put money back in Idahoans’ pockets:

  • $12,939,624 from the Internal Revenue Service
  • $1,400,000 from the Department of Labor
  • $192,006 from the Social Security Administration
  • $118,000 from the Department of the Interior
  • $100,000 from the Department of Justice
  • $75,000 from the Department of Housing and Urban Development
  • $73,620 from the Department of Veterans Affairs
  • $69,203 from the Department of Commerce
  • $50,654 from the Office of Personnel Management
  • $15,398 from the Railroad Retirement Board

I am proud of the work my team does for Idahoans.

If you are experiencing problems with a federal agency, please don’t hesitate to contact my office. We stand ready to help.
