The My School Choice website features new and updated information about the Idaho Parental Choice Tax Credit program. There’s a new FAQ about public-school entities, and other updates clarify details on qualifying expenses, eligibility requirements, expense tracking, and age limitations. Language throughout the site now reflects the passage of important filing and registration dates and what parents are still able to do.
Filing and Registration Dates
- The November 1 date to file your 2024 Form 40, Individual Income Tax Return, for this program has passed. You can still file, but the Tax Commission can’t guarantee it can process your return in time for the January 15 to March 15 application period.
- The December 1 date to register for a Taxpayer Access Point (TAP) account has passed. You can still request an account, but the Tax Commission can’t guarantee you’ll get one in time for the January 15 to March 15 application period.
We’ve added this updated information about deadlines throughout the website.
