This August, Governor Little and I both had the opportunity to join INL Director John Wagner in welcoming NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman to Idaho Falls. His stop in Idaho highlighted something we already know well — some of the nation’s most consequential work in space is happening right here at home. Idaho should be part of the conversation about where the United States Space Academy takes shape. Read my op-ed with Governor Little HERE and below.
Also, this week, the United States recognized the 50th Anniversary of the Hyde Amendment. The Hyde Amendment protects federal taxpayer dollars from being used to fund elective abortions. I am and always have been pro-life and will continue to support pro-life policies.
Last but not least, I’ve heard from countless Idahoans regarding joining the Sharia-Free America efforts. I’m pleased to announce I’ve cosponsored legislation that would prevent all foreign nationals who observe Sharia from entering the United States or from remaining in the country. Additionally, I joined the Sharia-Free America Caucus.
The U.S. Space Academy Should Go to Idaho
President Trump’s second term has been about American greatness and innovation. His Executive Order establishing the Presidential Commission on the United States Space Academy reaffirms just that.

Celebrating 50 Years of Hyde
The Hyde Amendment has saved millions of precious American lives for fifty years. There is no right in the Constitution to force me, or anyone else who believes that abortion is morally wrong, to take money from my pocket and fund abortions.
I am unapologetically pro-life, and I will continue to support legislation that recognizes the sanctity of human life and supports mothers.
Sharia-Free America
Americans nationwide just remembered 25 years since radical Islamic terrorists killed 2,977 people, and the threat of Sharia law in the United States continues to be on the rise.
Sharia law has no place in this country and is incompatible with American values, our way of life, and the United States Constitution. I’m proud to join these Sharia-Free America efforts.
