WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Risch (R-Idaho) shared the following statement on the 250th anniversary of American independence:
“America is the greatest nation in the world. Not by a little bit, but by a whole lot. For 250 years, the United States has stood as a beacon of freedom, opportunity, perseverance, and innovation. This American spirit is alive and well, especially in my home state of Idaho,” said Risch. “As we celebrate 250 years of Independence, we must remember the sacrifices made to secure it and recommit ourselves to the ideals that have defined our great nation for centuries: freedom, faith, hard work, equality, and the Rule of Law.
“Vicki and I wish Idahoans and all Americans a safe and joyful Independence Day!”
