WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Congressman Russ Fulcher (Idaho-01) announced that $25,050,884 has been returned to Idahoans through casework. This is money that was owed to constituents but was held up in a federal agency.

Since arriving in Congress, Congressman Fulcher’s office has opened 7,938 cases and closed 7,268, with those involving the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Department of Veterans Affairs being the most prevalent.

“I’m proud to share that through my office’s casework efforts, we have successfully returned more than $25 million to hardworking Idahoans in the First Congressional District,” said Congressman Fulcher. “I always say one of the most impactful things our team has the privilege to do is help Veterans, seniors, and everyday citizens with federal agencies. Whether it is advocating for the assistance they need, acquiring a timely response, or cutting through government bureaucracy and red tape, my casework team and I are devoted to delivering results for constituents.”Residents of the First District are encouraged to contact Congressman Fulcher’s office at (208) 888-3188 or to visit https://fulcher.house.gov/services/help-with-a-federal-agency/ if they are having trouble receiving an answer from a federal agency in a timely fashion, or if they feel they have been treated unfairly.
