By Congressman Mike Simpson

Dear Friend,

Kathy and I are wishing you and your loved ones a Happy Easter!

It was a busy week back in Idaho’s Second District. From Idaho Falls to Boise, I enjoyed having several conversations and meetings with Idahoans. It was also a great opportunity to attend and participate as a water-testing judge at the Idaho Rural Water Association’s annual spring banquet. I enjoyed the Great American Water Taste Test! Congratulations to all of the contestants.

Additionally, I attended the ribbon-cutting for the Saint Alphonsus Regional Rehabilitation Hospital Expansion. I’m very proud to see investments like this happening around the district. Thank you for having me!

Happy Easter!

Idaho Rural Water Association Banquet

In Idaho, we know how valuable water is to our way of life. It is a precious resource to our state and economy and enhances the quality of life for our residents and communities. Who ensures the quality is safe? Groups like the Idaho Rural Water Association.

This week, I had the opportunity to attend their spring banquet. I appreciate the value of the IRWA and all their hard work to provide Idahoans with clean and safe drinking water and wastewater systems for our communities.

Saint Alphonsus Ribbon Cutting in Boise

I was grateful to attend the ribbon-cutting for the Saint Alphonsus Regional Rehabilitation Hospital Expansion earlier this week.

I am always glad to see state and local leaders working together to make investments like this possible. That kind of partnership is how we deliver real results for our community.
