BOISE, Idaho — The Idaho GOP is pleased to announce that Rep. Kyle Harris has been appointed as the party’s new legislative liaison to the Idaho House of Representatives.
In this role, Rep. Harris will serve as the primary point of contact between House Republican legislators and the Idaho GOP, helping ensure clear communication and coordination on legislative priorities during the session.
The Idaho GOP State Central Committee passed 18 resolutions at its 2026 Winter Meeting in January. These resolutions reflect the priorities of Republican grassroots activists across the state. The legislative liaison plays an important role in helping translate these priorities into policy.
“Rep. Harris has quickly proven himself as a trusted conservative voice with the ability to get things done,” said Idaho GOP Chairwoman Dorothy Moon. “He brings a fresh perspective to the conversation as we work together to advance grassroots Republican priorities.”
Rep. Harris represents District 7 and has served in the Idaho House since 2025. He will assume his new responsibilities immediately.
