RELEASE: Gregg Diacogiannis Announces Candidacy for Idaho House

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Payette, Idaho: Gregg Diacogiannis has filed his candidacy with the Secretary of State to run for Idaho District 9 House Seat B.

Gregg Diacogiannis is a U.S. Army veteran and conservative patriot. Diacogiannis was born in Tacoma, Washington, he is a husband, father, and former Infantryman who served two tours in Iraq. He is currently a truck driver in Fruitland, Idaho. He pledges to challenge the long-standing incumbent, Rep. Judy Boyle. He has committed to breaking the establishment’s grip on Idaho politics and restoring true conservative values to the state legislature.

Diacogiannis’ key policy positions are the following:

  1. Pro Second Amendment: Supports a full repeal of the NFA.
  2. Abortion Abolition: Supports the criminalization of abortion.
  3. Pro School Choice: Education funds should follow each child to whatever kind of schooling their parents fit.
  4. Complete Tax Reform: Supports the repeal of the Grocery, Gas, Income, and Property taxes. Idaho should move to a 6% consumption tax (Sales tax).
  5. Immigration Reform: Government should be protecting Idaho’s workers; there should never be any support for illegals. All illegals must be sent home.
  6. Property Rights: Property Rights are the foundation of personal freedom and liberty.

His campaign slogan, “Lead like an Infantryman, Serve like a Patriot”, encapsulates his commitment to bold, unapologetic leadership and selfless service. Drawing from his experience in the United States Army where he learned as an infantryman to never give up, attack the enemy, defend those around him, motivate those around him to always move forward. Diacogiannis has outlined his vision to defend Idahoans’ gun Rights, cut the state’s bloated budget, protect the state’s land, and push to cut all burdensome taxes.

He has told his supporters, “The people we keep sending to Boise have gotten too comfortable with compromise. Compromise will be the death of Idaho and our way of life.” Diacogiannis’ rallying cry: “If you’re tired of watered-down conservatism, if you’re ready for bold, unapologetic, Idaho First leadership Only, join me in this fight. Let’s take back District 9 and have a candidate who is Idaho First, America Only.”
