WASHINGTON— This week, Idaho Congressman Mike Simpson voted in favor of two critical pieces of pro-life legislation. H.R.6359 – the Pregnant Students’ Rights Act ensures all pregnant college students know their rights and protections to carry a pregnancy to term. H.R.6945 – the Supporting Pregnant and Parenting Women and Families Act guarantees pregnancy resource centers have access to the resources they need to help mothers and families.
“Defending the most vulnerable among us is one of my top priorities in Congress,” said Rep. Simpson. “I have proudly advocated for pro-life policies and solutions that empower mothers and support them with resources and information. I was pleased to support bills on the House floor this week that do just that and reaffirm the right to life.”
Rep. Simpson received an A+ on the Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America’s 2025 scorecard this week. Additionally, Rep. Simpson recently cosponsored H.R.431 – the Life at Conception Act, a bill declaring that the right to life guaranteed by the Constitution is vested in each human being at all stages of life.
