RELEASE: Syringa Speaker Series GALA 2/28/26

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Boise, Idaho – September 9, 2025 – The Syringa Speaker Series, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing leading voices to Idaho’s capital city, is proud to announce its 2026 gala: Protecting the Next Generation. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the Boise Centre in downtown Boise.

The evening will feature bestselling author and journalist Liz Wheeler, nationally recognized activist Chloe Cole, and will be emceed by Fox News contributor and media personality Joe Concha. Together, these voices will address one of the most pressing issues facing families and communities today: how to protect the health, safety, and well-being of America’s children.

Described by Politico as a “titan of conservative media,” Liz Wheeler is a bestselling author, podcast host, and commentator whose work challenges progressive ideologies and defends American culture. She rose to prominence as host of Tipping Point with Liz Wheeler on One America News and now leads The Liz Wheeler Show on BlazeTV, The First TV, and major podcast platforms.

Chloe Cole, a courageous activist and detransitioner, began identifying as transgender at 12, started puberty blockers and testosterone soon after, and at 15 underwent a double mastectomy. Later realizing she had not been fully informed of the long-term risks, she became a leading advocate for safeguarding children from harmful medical interventions. She has testified before legislatures nationwide, and her testimony during the 2023 legislative session helped make Idaho one of the first states to fully ban child gender mutilation.

Joe Concha, a Fox News Channel contributor since 2020, appears on programs across Fox News and Fox Business Network, including Fox & Friends, The Big Saturday Show, Varney & Co., and Outnumbered. He is also the author of Come On, Man! and will guide the evening with his signature wit and insight.

“We are incredibly excited to welcome Liz Wheeler, Chloe Cole, and Joe Concha to Boise for this important discussion,” said Lynn Bradescu, chair of the Syringa Speaker Series. “Our children are being attacked from all angles, and protecting them is our primary mission. Liz, Chloe, and Joe have been on the front lines of the battle to protect our children for a long time, and we can’t wait for you to meet them in Boise.”

As part of the program, the Syringa Speaker Series Leadership Award will once again spotlight a local nonprofit making a meaningful difference in Idaho. The 2026 honoree will be announced in the weeks leading up to the event.

In keeping with the mission of investing in Idaho’s youth, the Syringa Speaker Series also offers opportunities for community members to sponsor student attendance. This initiative ensures that young Idahoans hear firsthand the conversations shaping our culture and learn how to make their voices count.
