BOISE — Attorney General Raúl Labrador announced that investigators with his Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit arrested a Caldwell man on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, for alleged sexual exploitation of a child.

Francisco Zamora, a 62-year-old registered sex offender from Caldwell, Idaho, has been charged with ten counts of possession of child sexually exploitative material and five counts of possession of the obscene visual representation of the sexual abuse of children. The arrest was carried out by investigators from the Attorney General’s ICAC Unit, with assistance from the Canyon County Prosecutor’s Office and the Caldwell Police Department.

“I want to thank the Canyon County Prosecutor’s Office and the Caldwell Police Department for their assistance in this arrest,” said Attorney General Labrador. “Protecting Idaho families from the evils of online child exploitation is not easy work, but our ICAC team works harder than ever to make stopping bad guys a top priority.”

Anyone with information regarding the exploitation of children is encouraged to contact local police, the Attorney General’s ICAC Unit at 208-947-8700, or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678.

The Attorney General’s ICAC Unit works with the Idaho ICAC Task Force, a coalition of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, to investigate and prosecute individuals who use the internet to criminally exploit children.

Parents, educators, and law enforcement officials can find more information and helpful resources at the ICAC website, ICACIdaho.org.

The charges listed above are merely accusations and defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
