Payette, ID—U.S. Army veteran and conservative patriot Gregg Diacogiannis has officially announced his candidacy for Idaho House District 9 Seat B today. Diacogiannis, a husband, father, and former infantryman who served two tours in Iraq, is currently a truck driver for Woodgrain. He pledged to challenge the long-standing establishment candidate, Rep. Judy Boyle. He has committed to challenge the establishment’s grip on Idaho politics and restore true conservative values to the legislature.

Standing before supporters, Diacogiannis declared, “In the words of John Paul Jones, ‘I have not yet begun to fight!'” His campaign slogan of, “Lead like an Infantryman, Serve like a Patriot,” encapsulates his commitment to bold and unapologetic leadership and selfless service. He draws from his experience in the United States Army where he learned as an infantryman to never give up, attack the enemy, and motivate those around him to always move forward. Diacogiannis outlined his vision to defend Idahoans’ gun rights, cut the state’s bloated budget, protect the state’s land, and to push to cut the grocery and property tax. He told his supporters “The people we keep sending to Boise have gotten comfortable, and that comfort has bred compromise. Compromise will be the death of Idaho and our way of life.”

Diacogiannis concluded with a rallying cry: “If you’re tired of watered-down conservatism, if you’re ready for bold, unapologetic leadership, then join me in this fight. Let’s take back District 9 and let’s take back Idaho.”
