After more than 27 hours of debate, Senate Republicans passed President Trump’s One, Big, Beautiful Bill.
This monumental bill achieves conservative priorities and delivers on our promises to the American people. It strengthens border security, makes the 2017 Trump tax cuts permanent, dismantles the Green New Deal, and slashes $1.6 trillion in wasteful spending.
- Largest tax cut in history for working and middle-class Americans;
- Increases take-home pay for Idaho families by $12,200;
- Historic investment in border security and immigration enforcement;
- Finishes the southern border wall;
- Protects Idaho’s public lands from being sold to the highest bidder;
- Repeals Democrat subsidies for unwanted wind projects like Lava Ridge;
- Invests in American nuclear, hydropower, and geothermal energy;
- Modernizes and extends Farm Bill safety net programs for farmers and ranchers;
- Preserves Medicaid for vulnerable Idahoans; and
- Strengthens our Second Amendment rights.
Our work isn’t over.
Congress must rein in the national debt and end the waste of taxpayer dollars. The One, Big, Beautiful Bill is a strong step forward.
