EDITORIAL: Reflecting on Election Victories and Gratitude from the Idaho Republican Party

By Dorothy Moon

The Idaho Republican Party has much to be grateful for this Thanksgiving. Let’s reflect on the recent election that brought us significant victories. This election was one to celebrate, highlighting our gratitude for the grassroots efforts and outcomes that have positively impacted our state and our nation.

We are thankful for the hard work that went into defeating Ranked Choice Voting (Proposition 1). This initiative posed a threat to our Idaho elections, and thanks to the dedication of Idaho Republicans, we successfully prevented it from passing. This victory ensures that our voting system remains one person, one vote.

We are also grateful for the election of new Republican legislators such as Tanya Burgoyne, Codi Calloway, and Mike Pohanka, who defeated Democrat opponents. These new leaders are committed to working tirelessly to preserve our state’s values and ensure that Idaho remains a strong, conservative beacon for generations to come.

This election not only saved our state but also marked a significant victory for our country. It was an overwhelming win, both in electoral and popular votes, and served as a decisive mandate from the people. Our President’s deep love for our country, and especially for its people, stands in stark contrast to the liberal woke globalist’s attempts to undermine our constitutional republic. This election was a pivotal moment, underscoring the importance of protecting our core values.

As we gather with friends and family this Thanksgiving, we encourage everyone to stay engaged and active in our political process. Though we have achieved significant victories, we must continue to push forward and not rest on our laurels. Make sure you are subscribed to our newsletter at IDGOP.org to receive the latest press releases, opinion pieces, and important information directly from the Idaho Republican Party. Additionally, we invite you to attend one of the county Lincoln Day dinners in the upcoming year to stay connected and involved.

This Thanksgiving, we celebrate the Idaho Republican Party’s steadfast commitment to faith, freedom, and family. There is so much to be grateful for this season, as we reflect on the progress we’ve made and the bright future ahead.
