JOINT FINANCE-APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEE
The Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee (JFAC) is made up of members from both the Idaho House and Senate and is responsible for setting the state’s budget. Meeting throughout the legislative session, JFAC reviews state agency budget requests, examines fiscal reports, and recommends appropriations for all state programs and services. Its work determines how taxpayer dollars are allocated across Idaho’s government.
