The Idaho Lottery was established in 1988 through a Idaho voter-approved constitutional amendment, with proceeds directed to the state's public schools and permanent building fund, including public colleges and universities. The Lottery offers a range of games, from national multi-state jackpot drawings such as Powerball and Mega Millions to scratch tickets with smaller prize tiers.
