Statement: “I am running in part because I don’t think the people of District 22 are represented fairly in the Idaho Legislature. I have sat in committee meetings and watched citizens be dismissed, I have seen person after person testify on the same side of an issue only to see our representatives vote the opposite in what appears to be a predetermined decision. I have watched as our legislature has tried over and over to dilute the power of the people to use the Constitutional right of the ballot initiative. Our representation has attempted government overreach to gain control of our local issues and nullify decisions already made by voters.”
