COMMITTEE ON FEDERALISM
The Committee on Federalism is a joint legislative committee that monitors and reviews federal laws, regulations, and actions that may affect Idaho’s jurisdiction, governance, or sovereignty. It evaluates whether such federal measures are authorized by the U.S. Constitution and whether they uphold or infringe upon the principles of federalism, helping the Legislature respond to potential overreach.
