WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Congressman Russ Fulcher (Idaho-01) announced that $26,414,108 has been returned to Idahoans through casework. This is money owed to constituents that was being held by a federal agency.
Through his constituent services casework team, Congressman Fulcher’s office has closed more than 7,592 cases, with agencies such as the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Social Security Administration, and Department of Veterans Affairs most often involved.
“Since arriving in Congress, I’m proud to share that through my office’s casework efforts, we have helped return more than $26 million to hardworking Idahoans in the First Congressional District,” said Congressman Fulcher. “It is an honor to serve the people of the First District and work alongside my team to help constituents navigate issues with federal agencies. I am proud of the work our team does to make the everyday lives of Idahoans better.”
