The Idaho State Police is the state’s primary law enforcement agency, responsible for protecting lives and property, enforcing state law, and promoting public safety across Idaho. ISP provides statewide services including highway safety and enforcement, criminal investigations, emergency response, and support for local and partner law enforcement agencies. The agency also works with communities and other public safety organizations to address threats such as drug trafficking, human trafficking, and violent crime.
