5 days into Senate Democrats’ government shutdown and Chuck Schumer continues to play political games.
His ridiculous, nearly $1.5 trillion spending proposal would raise taxes on working families, increase our national debt, slash funding for rural hospitals, and give illegal immigrants free health care.
He is catering to the far left and wants the American people to pay the price.
Liberal activists are trying to deflect blame onto Republicans, but make no mistake—this shutdown is squarely in the hands of the Democrats.
Three Democrats have already come to their senses and voted for Republicans’ clean funding bill, but we need more to get the job done. My rancher’s intuition is confident we’ll get the votes.
Just like when I’m sorting cows on the ranch, I know that if a couple break through the gate, you’d better get out of the way because there’s going to be a stampede.
Idahoans are tired of Chuck Schumer’s radical wish list and elected President Trump to end their woke, borrow-and-spend policies. I’m lockstep with the President in this fight.
If Democrats are serious about addressing the needs of Americans, they will do the right thing and vote for Republicans’ clean funding bill.
