Earlier this afternoon, President Donald Trump endorsed Gov. Brad Little for reelection on Truth Social:

Border, Support our Brave Military, Veterans, and Law Enforcement, and Protect our always under siege Second Amendment.
Brad Little has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election – HE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN!
Though Little has yet to officially announce a campaign for a third term, he filed a treasurer appointment form in January of 2024 and sent a fundraising letters to Republicans throughout the state earlier this year. The president’s endorsement is confirmation that Little is indeed running a third time.
President Trump withheld an endorsement in 2018 when then-Lt. Gov. Little ran against then-Congressman Raúl Labrador and businessman Tommy Ahlquist. He endorsed then-Lt. Gov. Janice McGeachin when she unsuccessfully challenged Little in 2022.
Trump has praised Little several times since taking office, including when he posted a message of support for school choice leading up to the governor’s decision to sign House Bill 96 during the legislative session.
This endorsement will likely cause any potential challenger to the governor’s right think twice about launching a campaign. According to Little’s Sunshine report, his campaign currently has just under $200,000 cash on hand against $400,000 debt. He raised $2.77 million for his 2022 reelection.
