I lost track of this bill. It was reintroduced as H1274 and passed both chambers on party line votes. The governor signed it into law last week.


Tuesday, 1/23/24:
Sen. Treg Bernt has introduced a bill to ban diversity statements in higher ed hiring. The State Board of Education already banned these, but this would put it in statute. It is Senate Bill 1242.
