Sen. Cook has reintroduced his cell phone bill as RS 31007 C1, which was approved in committee and printed as S1253.

Wednesday, 1/17/24:

S1222 has been rated -8 by the Idaho Freedom Foundation.

Tuesday, 1/16/24:

RS 30913 C1 has been printed and assigned as Senate Bill 1222.

Monday, 1/15/24:

Sen. Kevin Cook introduced RS 30113C1 in Senate State Affairs this morning. This is the latest version of his bill that requires devices sold to minors to have parental controls enabled by default. The committee agreed to print the bill and it will have a number soon.
