Primary Pulse

The Idaho State Legislature is composed of two chambers: the House and the Senate. Our state is divided into 35 legislative districts, the boundaries of which are redrawn every ten years after the federal census. Each district elects two representatives (Seat A and Seat B) as well as one senator.

On May 19, 2026, Republican voters in Idaho will select the party’s nominees for the Legislature. In all but a few districts, that nominee will likely win the general election. Use this page to learn more about the candidates asking you for your vote. Click here to find your district.
